Training opportunities

We offer the following courses to our staff

  • Location: Faringdon Payroll and Administration Assistant

    This job is based in the office at our Faringdon Nursery but will provide support for our entire group of nurseries.

    Hours: 20 – 25 hours per week

    Salary Range: £10 – £11 per hour

    Job Purpose

    • To provide comprehensive and effective support to the Human Resources and Payroll Manager and assistance to Nursery managers on day to day payroll issues as directed
    • To support and manage the monthly payroll processing as advised by the Human Resources and Payroll manager
    • Provide administrative support for the Head Office Senior Leadership Team

    Person Specification

    Skills and Experience:

    • Experience of working within a Payroll function is advantageous
    • Ability to deal with highly confidential and sensitive information is essential.
    • A high standard of IT proficiency and administrative skills – MS Office particularly in Excel.
    • Full UK or EU Driving essential.

    Personal Attributes

    • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.
    • Good organisational, time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines are all essential.
    • A confident and competent communicator able to work effectively with employees at all levels within the organisation
    • A proven team player but also able to work alone as required
    • Self-motivated and uses initiative to spot opportunities to improve company systems and processes

  • Location: Small Friends Nursery Practitioner

    We have two positions available.

    Job Type: 40 hrs per week

    Level 3 required
