    Located within the grounds of Braiswick Primary School, providing a secure and stimulating environment for children to explore

    Sunhill Colchester is a purpose build nursery using the latest eco-friendly building technology.

    The nursery offers a safe, secure and happy environment for children enabling them to develop at their own pace; whilst having fun, making friends and becoming a confident and independent little person.

    The nursery offers 3 age appropriate rooms which have been carefully planned to help children’s learning and development as they grow. Each room has individual access to a free flow area which consists of a big sand pit, a music and water wall, and a newly planted sensory garden for the children to explore and investigate.

    Located just 5 minutes from the A12 and a 10 minute walk from Colchester North Station. The nursery is situated in the grounds of Braiswick Primary school*, located on Apprentice Drive off Bergholt Road, North Station Colchester. We have 10 car parking spaces in front of the nursery for parents and visitors.

    AVAILABLE FUNDING

    Helping pay for your childcare

    Understandably, the cost of day nursery can put many familiesoff choosing it as an option. But there are a range of Government schemes open to parents that can make nursery affordable and we will do everything we can to help you understand the choices and access the funding that you might be eligible for.

    Tax-Free Childcare  – For working families earning under £100k and at least £131 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each who aren’t receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.

    15 hours and 30 hours Funded Childcare  – For many working parents of 2 year olds, and 3 – 4 year olds for 38 weeks each year.
