Who we are
The Old Station Nursery Pershore offers a safe place for your little one to play, learn and grow
Offering a home from home environment, our carefully designed nursery encourages learning through curiosity, discovery and enjoyment.
The staff at The Old Station Nursery Pershore are committed to nurturing your child, helping them to develop their interests and grow into confident and independent children ready for school. All of our rooms free flow to their own dedicated outdoor space and an all-weather cover allows for outdoor play all year round.
For the younger children, we follow their individual routines, working alongside families to ensure we keep consistency between home and nursery; whilst giving the children the opportunity to develop their sensory skills through appropriate resources and planned activities.

The nursery is a short walk from Pershore town centre and is also conveniently located next to Pershore train station on Station Road. The nursery is only 2 minutes from the A44, with parking outside for easy drop-off and pick-up.

"Two of my children attend The Old Station Nursery Pershore, and we are really happy with the care and attention they receive. They are in different rooms according to their age groups, but there is consistency in the care provision and a commitment to helping our children develop. The nursery tailors activities to suit the needs and interests of the children, and I’d say this is ‘over and above’ in respect of one of my children. There is also a sense of ‘one big family’, and the kids often intermingle, and staff know all the children in the nursery. Crucially, we completely trust The Old Station Nursery, and we feel secure in the knowledge our kids are being cared for very well."
"We're always so impressed"
"Our little boy (now 17 months) has been here in the baby room since he was 12 months and is thriving. The staff are friendly and caring, and it's clear that he feels safe and cared for when he's there. He was really distressed when I left him for the first time (it was his first time being cared for by someone who wasn't a relative) but the team took it completely in their stride and he settled really well over the following weeks. He's come on leaps and bounds over the last 5 months. We're always so impressed at the range of activities the staff set up for the children and it's clear that they keep them happy and engaged. They've encouraged his development and seem genuinely happy and enthusiastic as he hits each milestone. Choosing a nursery is always such a big decision but we feel that we've definitely made the right one for our little boy. Thank you Old Station team!"

"My daughter has been attending the nursery for the last year and a half. The staff are wonderful and take a holistic approach to their care, considering both educational, cognitive and emotional aspects of her well-being. Personally, they have been very kind to me and have gone out of their way to provide a place for me to breastfeed my daughter . They also actively encourage feedback and engagement from the parents and work hard to create a warm and welcoming environment. My daughter has made some lovely friends and really enjoys attending the nursery."

Helping pay for your childcare
Find out moreUnderstandably, the cost of day nursery can put many familiesoff choosing it as an option. But there are a range of Government schemes open to parents that can make nursery affordable and we will do everything we can to help you understand the choices and access the funding that you might be eligible for.
Tax-Free Childcare – For working families earning under £100k and at least £131 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each who aren’t receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
15 hours and 30 hours Funded Childcare – For many working parents of 2 year olds, and 3 – 4 year olds for 38 weeks each year.
