The nursery joined the larger nursery group, The Old Station Nursery Group in January 2022, and provides full time and part time care for children aged 3 months to 5 years old.

The most recent Ofsted inspection mentioned that “Children arrive happy and settle quickly at this warm and welcoming nursery. They build strong bonds with the kind and gentle staff, which helps them to feel safe and secure. Children develop good independence skills. Babies learn to feed themselves and choose their own play. Older children learn to manage their own self-care needs.”

It continues with “The manager has high expectations for all children in her care. She has devised a well-sequenced curriculum that covers all areas of learning.”

The nursery offers a home from home environment through a carefully designed nursery, including free-flow rooms and a dedicated outdoor space. There is always an encouragement of learning through curiosity, discovery, and enjoyment, with plentiful activities and resources.

Commenting on the ‘Good’ grading by Ofsted, Nursery Manager Alex Taylor said, “I am so proud of my team who have worked incredibly hard to receive our ‘Good’ grading from Ofsted. This is such an important achievement for myself and the team which recognises the dedication and hard work which we put into the nursery for our families.”

Sarah Steel, Chair of The Old Station Nursery Group also commented on the nursery’s achievement by saying, “We are incredibly proud of the ‘Good’ grading at Pershore. The nursery team have worked hard to ensure all the children are given the opportunities to gain their independence and make decisions through their play, with the support and guidance of the team. Well done to everyone at the nursery!”

Named as the 19th largest nursery group in the UK (Nursery Chains league, March 2021), The Old Station Nursery Group currently comprises of 71 nurseries providing the best of care for over 4746 children, with the ambition to expand further and support more families in the near future.
