The children at The Old Station Nursery Pershore have been celebrating National Nursery Rhyme Week with fun singing, engaging activities, and baking delicious currant buns.
It’s National Nursery Rhyme Week at The Old Station Nursery Pershore, and children from our ‘TopDots’ room have been singing along to their favourite nursery rhymes, bringing the timeless songs to life with enthusiasm. From classic favourites to fun, new renditions, the children have had a great time getting into the rhythm of the songs.
The children also enjoyed a hands-on activity, baking their very own currant buns. Mixing, stirring, and watching the buns rise in the oven was an exciting and delicious way for the little ones to practice their fine motor skills and learn about the kitchen. And the best part? Tasting the freshly baked buns, of course!
Whether they were singing, baking, or simply enjoying the time together, National Nursery Rhyme Week has brought plenty of joy and learning to our TopDots. We can’t wait to see what other exciting activities we’ll have in the weeks to come.
