Sixpenny Day Nursery Receives 'Good' Ofsted Report
Local nursery Sixpenny Day Nursery in Devizes has received a ‘Good’ Ofsted grading, following their recent inspection.
The nursery, which joined the larger group, The Old Station Nursery Group in 2022, provides full time and part time care for children aged 0-5 years old.
The most recent Ofsted inspection mentioned that “Children’s confidence grows effectively in the caring environment that the friendly staff provide. The nursery curriculum is well planned and ensures that children develop their skills effectively.”
It continued with saying that “Children also learn about their emotions by engaging in interesting activities, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).”
The nursery provides a safe and enriching setting for children to grow, learn and play. The team ensure that there are plenty of fun and stimulating learning and developmental opportunities for all the children.
Commenting on the recent grading, Nursery Manager Kim said “The team have worked so hard to provide such a stimulating environment to support the children in thriving. We are delighted to continue providing high-quality childcare”
Named as the 13th largest nursery group in the UK (Nursery Chains league, March 2023), The Old Station Nursery Group cares for up to 5335 children in 79 nurseries across the UK.
