At The Old Station Nursery in Bampton, the children in both the Rainbow Room and the Coral Room had a delightful time today making their own sandwiches for tea. 🥪
As part of our hands-on learning experience, the children were encouraged to think about the importance of hygiene, with a quick chat about the need to wash hands before handling food. Then, the fun really began! Each child had the opportunity to choose their own fillings, from crunchy veggies to tasty spreads, creating personalized sandwiches to enjoy together.
Not only was it a delicious and engaging activity, but it also gave the children a chance to practice important life skills like decision-making, teamwork, and self-care. Everyone had a wonderful time and especially loved sharing their creations at tea time.
We can’t wait for more fun, food-filled learning experiences like this one!
