Local nursery Good Manors Day Nursery Queenswood Lodge, located in Waterlooville has received a ‘Good’ Ofsted grading, following their recent inspection.
Good Manors Day Nursery Queenswood Lodge, which joined The Old Station Nursery Group in 2022, provides full time and part time care for children aged 0-5 years old.
The most recent Ofsted inspection mentioned that “Across the nursery, children show positive attitudes to their learning. They are self-motivated and eagerly explore the inviting activities and resources that staff provide for them.”
Continuing with “Parents speak highly of the staff team and the care their children receive. For example, staff encourage parents to borrow home learning bags to support their children’s learning even further at home. This joined-up approach supports consistency for children’s learning.”
The nursery provides a safe and enriching setting for children to grow, learn and play. The team ensure that there are plenty of fun and stimulating learning and developmental opportunities for all the children.
Commenting on the recent grading, Nursery Manager Claire Norman commented “After being newly appointed as manager at the nursery, I am delighted with the result! I couldn’t be prouder of the team, who constantly work above and beyond to provide high quality care for the children. We can’t wait to share the great news with all our wonderful families.”
