The children in the Graduate Room at Sandhills Day Nursery Barnt Green recently enjoyed a wonderful adventure in the local woodland, bringing the beloved story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to life! 🐻🌳
Having spent the week reading and exploring the story, the children were eager to step into the pages and act out the tale themselves. They counted bears, created their own playdough bear figures, and even made up their own bear stories, using their imaginations to add new twists to the classic adventure.
The trip to the woods was the perfect way to connect with the story in a hands-on way, allowing the children to explore the natural environment and bring their learning to life. It was a fantastic experience that encouraged creativity, physical activity, and a love of storytelling.
