Who we are
Offering a homely and secure setting for children to flourish
Stowmarket Nursery works closely with parents to ensure each child leaves nursery confident and ready for their next stage of learning.
Stowmarket Nursery and Pre-school are set across two sites, ensuring that we are able to give children a truly unique and special nursery experience. Children start their journey here at our Stowmarket Nursery. Our nursery on Bury Street provides the children with their own unique space and carefully chosen resources to become confident and curious learners. Our setting is perfectly sized so that children are in small groups and are able to develop at their own pace. Visit our Pre-School page here.
The nursery has two rooms and an inside garden where natural sounds are played, outside activities are planned and carried out.

Directions & Parking
Conveniently located in the centre of Stowmarket within Union Street West car park, just off Gipping Way road. We are ideally located 2 minutes walking distance from Stowmarket train station and minutes drive from the A14. We are also very close to bus routes. As we are based next to a large car park, there is plenty of paid parking. West Suffolk Council allow visitors 10 minutes free for drop off and pick up.

Helping pay for your childcare
Find out moreUnderstandably, the cost of day nursery can put many familiesoff choosing it as an option. But there are a range of Government schemes open to parents that can make nursery affordable and we will do everything we can to help you understand the choices and access the funding that you might be eligible for.
Tax-Free Childcare – For working families earning under £100k and at least £131 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each who aren’t receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
15 hours and 30 hours Funded Childcare – For many working parents of 2 year olds, and 3 – 4 year olds for 38 weeks each year.
