The Macmillan Coffee Morning is a beloved nationwide initiative that plays a vital role in supporting cancer patients and their families. While Macmillan Cancer Support accepts donations year-round, the September appeal brings communities together in a special way.
The children, families, and staff at Wylde Green Day Nursery, part of The Old Station Nursery Group, came together for a fantastic week-long Macmillan Coffee Morning bake sale. Everyone had the chance to bake or bring in delicious cakes to share, with small donations contributing to an incredible total of £530 raised for the charity.
Donna Reid, Nursery Manager, shared her appreciation: “We are incredibly grateful for the support from our wonderful nursery community during our Macmillan Coffee Morning. It’s uplifting to see everyone come together to create a meaningful impact for those affected by cancer.”
She further expressed, “Your kindness and contributions have made a significant difference for this vital cause.”

In total, The Old Station Nursery Group raised over £1,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support, with nurseries continuing to contribute to important causes throughout the year.
