A huge congratulations once again to Harriet for her incredible achievement! We’re all so proud of you—and grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause. You’ve shown us the power of community, and we can’t wait to see what amazing things you’ll accomplish next! 👏
In a heartwarming show of determination and community spirit, Harriet, Nursery Manager at Choochoos Day Nursery Whitstable, has achieved something truly remarkable. Not only did she complete a grueling half marathon, but she also more than doubled her fundraising goal for the Food Bank Canterbury, raising a whopping £367!
Harriet initially set out to raise £150 for the food bank, which provides essential support to local families in need. However, thanks to her incredible efforts and the generosity of those around her, she soared past that goal, proving that small actions can have a huge impact
In a world where many are facing uncertainty and hardship, local food banks are a lifeline. The money Harriet raised will go directly towards helping those in the Canterbury community who rely on these vital services. This kind of support is more crucial than ever, and Harriet’s fundraising will ensure that the food bank can continue to provide help where it’s most needed.
It wasn’t just about the run itself. Harriet’s accomplishment highlights the importance of community. From her colleagues at Choochoos Nursery to local supporters and friends, everyone came together to back her mission. It’s this collective effort that turned Harriet’s marathon into something bigger: a reminder of what can be achieved when we come together to support a common cause.
Feeling inspired by Harriet’s story? There are many ways you can make a difference, whether it’s by supporting a local food bank, volunteering your time, or setting up a fundraiser of your own. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in the lives of those in need.
