The Old Station Nursery Group Raises Over £1,500 For Children In Need

The Old Station Nursery Group celebrated Children In Need on Friday 17th November, with the nurseries raising a total of £1525.22 and counting for the charity.

BBC Children In Need are committed to ensuring every child has the support they deserve and need to thrive. Although the charity raises money all year round, it is their annual November “SPOTacular” appeal, that is well-known and participated in across the country.

The nurseries in The Old Station Nursery Group, which has 79+ nurseries across the UK, hosted a variety of fundraising events, from bake sales and tea parties to encouraging the children and team to where pyjamas to nursery.

Contributions from these nurseries brought the total amount raised to £1,525.22 and counting, with some of the nurseries continuing to take online donations.   

Adelle Taylor (CEO) and Sarah Steel (Chairwoman at The Old Station Nursery Group) also shared their insight, “Highlighting and celebrating national and international events, such as Children In Need is an important part of the values at The Old Station Nursery Group, across the offices and nurseries alike.”
