Local nursery, The Old Station Nursery in Stratford-Upon-Avon, has received a ‘Good’ Ofsted grading, following their recent inspection. The nursery, which joined The Old Station Nursery Group in 2022, provides full-time and part-time care all year round for children aged 0-3. Its Pre-school for 3-5 year-olds is less than a mile away, based within the grounds of Bishopton Primary School.
The most recent Ofsted inspection mentioned that “Babies thrive in the environment. The environment is filled with language as staff continually talk, sing and verbalise to encourage children to make sounds.”
It continued, “Parents comment on the range of good communication with the nursery. They are kept informed about their children’s progress. This helps them to support their children’s learning at home.”
The nursery provides a stimulating and safe environment, expanding children’s learning and curiosity through clubs, enhancements, and The Old Station Nursery’s curriculum, the Brighter Learning Approach; all of which aim to enhance the EYFS, ensuring that all children develop a life-long love for learning.
Commenting on the recent grading, Nursery Manager Lucy Stanley said, “I couldn’t be prouder of the children, parents and the team at The Old Station Nursery Stratford. The team’s dedication, skill and drive to give all children in our care the best early education is inspiring to see as a Manager.”
She continued, “Children’s learning and development are at the forefront of what we do every day; however, one of the best parts is seeing that the children are happy and enjoying their time at nursery!”
