The children, families, and staff at Little Oaks Day Nursery, part of The Old Station Nursery Group, came together for a wonderful Macmillan Coffee Morning bake sale. Everyone had the chance to bake or bring in delicious treats, resulting in an impressive total of £157.25 raised for the charity through generous donations.
Emma Cook, Nursery Manager, said, “I’m incredibly proud of our nursery community for their enthusiasm and support during the Macmillan Coffee Morning. It’s wonderful to see everyone rally together for such an important cause.”
She added, “Every contribution matters, and together we’ve made a real difference for those facing challenges with cancer.”
At The Old Station Nursery Group, celebrating initiatives like the Macmillan Coffee Morning is a fundamental part of our mission. We aim to enrich children’s learning and development by involving them in important topics that impact their lives and communities.
In total, The Old Station Nursery Group has raised over £1,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support, with nurseries continuing to support meaningful causes throughout the year.
