The Old Station Nursery Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Adelle Taylor as the new CEO, taking over from Sarah Steel, who will transition to the role of Chair of the company
Since the group was founded in 2002 with a single setting in Faringdon, The Old Station Nursery Group has had sustained growth and become one of the country’s largest nursery groups at 79 settings. With each new setting, the company’s goal has remained the same – a focus on quality and offering every child in our care the best start in life.
To continue to support the ongoing growth of the group and ensure that the focus on quality childcare remains at the heart of everything done, Sarah Steel will move into the position of Chair. As Chair, she will continue as an ambassador for the group within the sector, continue as the Nominated Individual for the group with Ofsted, and will continue her responsibilities as Chair of the NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association).
As CEO, Adelle Taylor will focus on the strategy for the company, as well as supporting the growth of future settings.
Commenting on her new role, Adelle said, “I am delighted to be joining The Old Station Nursery Group and it is a privilege to take over from the original founder, Sarah Steel, as CEO. The group is intensely passionate about early years learning and providing children with the very best start; a cause that is not difficult to get behind.”
She continued “I am looking forward to working alongside Sarah, and the wider team, in supporting The Old Station Nursery Group realise their ambitious plans for the future.”
Sarah Steel also commented, “I’m very excited to be taking on the role of Chair at The Old Station Nursery Group, as we continue to grow. I think the future is very bright for us and Adelle will help us to focus on all aspects of success including customer satisfaction. I will continue to keep our focus firmly on providing the highest quality of childcare to every child and family as we move forward.”
