We are delighted to announce that The Old Station Nursery Group has been named a finalist for Nursery Group of the Year (Large) at the National NMT Nursery Awards 2026.
It’s a moment worth celebrating and a reflection of the people and purpose behind our ambition to become the UK’s most trusted, values-led nursery group. At the heart of that ambition is our vision: We grow good humans, little and big, and the communities they help shape.
Being named a finalist is a wonderful recognition of the care and commitment of our colleagues across our nurseries, and the part each person plays in creating places where children and adults can grow.
The Group continues to grow and evolve, with an extensive refurbishment and rebrand programme underway to enhance our nursery environments.
Celebrating success across The Old Station Nursery Group
The shortlisting for Nursery Group of the Year (Large) is one of four finalist places for The Old Station Nursery at this year’s awards, reflecting the breadth of talent across our teams.
Lisa Hillyard, Assistant Manager at Sunhill Day Nursery Berkhamsted, is a finalist for SENCo of the Year, while The Old Station Nursery Forest School Devizes has been named a finalist in two categories: Nursery Outdoor Learning Environment of the Year and Forest/Beach School of the Year.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved and grateful to our children, families, colleagues and communities who are part of the journey with us.
