Yoga videos

“Yoga is almost like music in a way; there’s no end to it.” - Sting

Yoga is not just great fun, it also has lots of benefits for your child!

A regular yoga practice helps with overall physical and mental health. Mindfulness helps children develop healthy responses to the busy world around them. It also helps children deal with their own emotional responses to the world. The idea is to encourage children to use these techniques whenever they need to find calm.

Healthy Body, Happy Me

Nurseries across the Old Station Nursery family normally take part in NDNA’s (National Day Nurseries Association) Healthy Body, Happy Me week, which supports nurseries to focus on key areas for teaching children how to keep healthy, safe and growing strong. Linked to our Healthy Body, Happy Me specific resources, we wanted to also share some of our favourite relaxation videos.

The emotional wellbeing of children is just as important as their physical health.

Good mental wellbeing allows children and young people to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them and grow into well-rounded, healthy adults.
