Sibling resources

A little something to help keep older siblings busy

We understand that many of the children who attend our nurseries also have older siblings whose schools have closed. We are sure that many of them will enjoy spending a little extra time with their younger siblings doing all of the craft, outdoor and baking activities that we have suggested! But just in case they wanted to do something else, we have put together a few suggestions that might help to keep them busy too.

Our top recommended reading list

“If you are going to get anywhere in life you have to read a lot of books.” – Roald Dahl

Reading harnesses many positive benefits, no matter your age!

Reading is a much more complex task for the human brain than you would think – reading strengthens brain connections and even builds new connections.

Reading will not only improve children’s vocabulary and language skills, but it will also help with their concentration, imagination and teaching of the world in which they live.

And of course, reading is fun. So let all your children, nursery age and beyond, get lost in the magical world of books!
