Meet the team

Sarah founded The Old Station Nursery Group in 2002 and is responsible for the overall running of the company. She is involved with the NDNA as a Policy Board member as well as representing the company with the Department of Education and the OFSTED Big Conversation.

We are pleased to announce that Sarah has been recognised as one of the 'Women to Watch' in 2022. This non-competitive catalogue features the women who are empowering, inspiring and supporting others in the business of education globally, nominated by their peers.

Claire leads the Operations Department at The Old Station Nursery Group, overseeing the day to day running of the company. Claire is responsible for the operational teams across the group as well as the Quality team and Facilities team. As part of the Senior Management Team, she works closely with other Senior Leaders, Department Heads and colleagues in France.

Sumeer leads the Finance Department at The Old Station Nursery Group and is also responsible for the IT Department as well as business transformation across the company. As part of the Senior Management Team, he works closely with other Senior Leaders, Department Heads and colleagues in France.

Helena leads the Mergers and Acquisitions team and collaborates with the team in the UK as well as in France. Helena works closely with nursery groups interested in joining The Old Station Nursery Group.

Debbie leads the HR department at The Old Station Nursery Group and is responsible for our people across the group. As part of the Senior Management Team, she works closely with other Senior Leaders, Department Heads and colleagues in France.

Jo leads the marketing department at The Old Station Nursery Group and is responsible for the marketing strategy across the group. As part of the Senior Management Team, she works closely with other Senior Leaders, Department Heads and colleagues in France.

Kirsty is the Head of Operational Projects and Transitions for The Old Station Nursery Group. Kirsty works closely with new acquisitions alongside the Area Managers, Heads of Departments and other integration leads through the transitional period to support with wider operational integration.

Emma leads the Quality and Training team and is responsible for delivering the company’s high quality care and education strategy. Emma and her team deliver a system of quality monitoring and support programmes; as well as continuously reviewing and developing all of the company’s policies, quality toolkits and training resources.

Sara is the Area Manager for Sunhill Day Nurseries, Small Friends Day Nursery and Little Roos Day Nurseries. As an area manager, Sara’s role is very people centred, with children and staff at the heart of everything she does. Sara is the main point of contact and support for her nursery managers; alongside overseeing day to day nursery operations and the effective implementation of policies and procedures.

Sarah is the Area Manager for Sandhills Day Nurseries and My First Friends Nurseries. As an Area Manager, Sarah's role is very people centred, with children and staff at the heart of everything she does. Sarah is the main point of contact and support for her nursery managers; alongside overseeing day to day nursery operations and the effective implementation of policies and procedures.

Tracy is the Area Manager for The Old Station Nurseries and Sixpenny Day Nursery. As an Area Manager, Tracy’s role is very people centred, with children and staff at the heart of everything she does. Tracy is the main point of contact and support for her nursery managers; alongside overseeing day to day nursery operations and the effective implementation of policies and procedures.

Natalie leads our Facilities Team managing all maintenance related tasks and refurbishment projects.
