Welcome back to our remaining families in July, it has been great to finally see everyone again and how well we have all adjusted to our new normal. Although it has flown by so quickly! Please be reminded that we are still applying the 2-metre ruling. We are also ensuring our cleaning standards as high as they were when reopening 8 weeks ago.
Pre-school have been busy this month exploring the natural world. A friend brought in their butterflies that had hatched, which we released into the wild. The children also rescued a bee and are really looking forward to welcoming Flopsy the rabbit back to nursery. Pre-school also tired their hand at their own designs of some Picasso paintings. You never know, the next Picasso could be right here at Oxford!
The Toddlers have been creative this month; painting, gluing and drawing galore! The Babies have lots of friends joining them in the coming weeks and we are looking forward to welcoming you all. We wish all of our children who are soon off to school a fabulous time. We have wonderful memories of you all that we will treasure for a long time.
Whats coming up in August
Parents should have now, or soon will have, received your child’s most recent summative assessment. If there is anything further you would like to discuss, please do let your key person know.
Just a reminder, that August 31st is a bank holiday so the nursery will be closed. Our term restarts from September 2nd for our term time only families.
Other important information
Myself, and the team here at Oxford, would like to thank all of our families for their continued support and patience while we have navigated the changes recently. Your unwavering support has made the last two months not only a positive, but a thoroughly enjoyable welcome back to nursery.
As you many be aware, we are listed on a nursery review site called Daynurseries. We would be very grateful if you would spare a few minutes to leave us a review. You can do this online, by clicking here. Thank you very much for your continued support.
