Faringdon July News: Themed holiday club days and a big good luck to our pre-schoolers

July news
We have had such a lovely month, but can hardly believe where the time has gone! We have been re-opened for 8 weeks now and we can honestly say it has been wonderful to see you all and have all of your support. We continue to keep standards high throughout the nursery, hourly cleaning and checks in place to ensure that we are always maintaining the highest levels of care and safety, whilst having lots of fun, of course!
The children have had a brilliant time during pirate week and are really excited about our upcoming frozen themed week. We have plenty of science experiments and tricks up our sleeve to develop the topic, so keep posted for updates.
We hope that you all get as involved as possible, so do read the emails sent and keep in touch with EyLog. We will not add nursery notifications to the children’s journals, as this serves as their academic portfolio. Littering it with parish notices will interrupt the flow of that when you come to download it all at the end of nursery. To that point, if you have an important message or a question, please do phone or email the nursery directly as it is unlikely that we will pick up messages on EyLog as quickly.
What’s coming up in August
We wish all of our children who are soon to leave us to go to ‘big school’ a fabulous time. We are so certain that you are all ready for this next challenge. We have fabulous memories of you all and you have really created a wonderful year group that we all will treasure. If you are a school leaver, keep watch for the postman, as something will be heading your way soon.

Other important information
Please be reminded that we are still applying the 2 metre ruling. The wait outside the gates can get congested in the morning, so if you can, please stagger your drop off time, so that the path way remains clear for other pedestrians and respect people’s personal space.
As you many be aware, we are listed on a nursery review site called Daynurseries. We would be very grateful if you would spare a few minutes to leave us a review. You can do this online, by clicking here. Thank you very much for your continued support.
