We have had so much fun welcoming everyone back to nursery this month. Almost all of our families have now returned and we have shared so many wonderful days together.
We have been very lucky to receive lots of beautiful new resources this month and the children have had so much fun exploring an abundance of sensory materials, small world models and maths equipment. The children have been able to extend their imaginations with the new small world resources; while experimenting in maths and science with measuring, connecting circuits and construction.
What’s coming up in August
Our Mr Mischief’s children are going to be focusing on their physical gross motor skills; we have lots of little ones getting ready to walk and the team will be spending lots of time focusing on supporting this milestone.
The Mr Bumps children will also be looking at their physical skills and taking part in a series of ‘Sports Day’ type races in honour of our usual annual Sports Day event which, unfortunately, cannot go ahead this year due to the restrictions.
Finally, our Mr Messy’s children will be venturing into the world of dinosaurs and fairies; they will be using various small world resources to build upon their imaginations and develop their learning across all areas of the curriculum.
